Gullivers

Gullivers is a beautiful five bedroom supported living service, surrounded by peaceful fields of horses. On the site where the house sits, there are three other residential homes and a day centre. These give residents the opportunity to make new friends and form a social circle. The day centre can be accessed following risk assessments, the centre has a swimming pool and soft play area including two sensory rooms.

A short walk to local transport links for London and surrounding areas gives plenty of activity opportunities, adult learning, travel training and possible work placements.

We encourage people we support to be as independent as possible within their home and community environments. Completing assessment of needs and planning person centred support around the goals and aspirations of everyone.

The service has a person-centred monitoring system where each person’s risk assessment, support and activity plans can be accessed and reviewed by Key-workers and the management team. Support staff work with individuals to include their goals, how these will be achieved in addition to reviewing outcomes to ensure we have the right approach and resources for goals to be achieved.

A highly trained team of staff work within Gullivers to ensure the people they support are delivered a high and appropriate standard of care. The manager works closely with the staff team to set objectives and on-going professional development.
