The staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. My relative is very settled and happy living there and is extremely well looked after. It is a great comfort to myself and the rest of the family that we know that she is so well cared for.

My lovely brother resided at Sands Lodge for many years until he passed away on 11th November 2021. He loved living there and was a huge character in the Lodge and will be missed terribly. The staff have been excellent, and my brother enjoyed his time there, especially enjoying the meals that were

cooked; he always looked forward to the meals.
The staff are also very caring.

Dear George, Lynn, Tony and Adrienne, Thank you for letting me live here, I've never felt happy anywhere in my life but here i'm very happy. I know I have my moods and get depressed but you've always been here for me, and George you have your moods but I still think you're great and funny, I like it when you sing to me even though I don't understand what your singing. Lynn, you always make me laugh and you've got a great sense of humour and I love it when I can buy whatever I like, you always say yes but then George doesn't want me to spend all my money and over the years always helped me budget and save up. Tony, thank you for being you. You're a very stubborn man but I love you. Adrianne, you're lovely and beautiful. I love my bedroom and if i wasn't living here I wouldn't be alive no more. Resident at Sands Lodge

Sands Lodge is a very nice home. I have made a good improvement since I came to live here 4 years ago. Staff are very good and understanding. I have a good relation with most of the other residents. We go out together a lot for walks, trips, sightseeing, parks, town, shopping, pub lunches and even to the nail bar, theatre and cinemas. The food is lovely and healthy.

The garden is large but needs a bit of improvement which will be done in the summer. Staff accompany me for appointments and blood tests andsometimes we go out in the people carrier. The manager is very friendly and I can talk to him about anything and I can reach them through mobile and text messages even when the management is away. I would recommend this home to anyone who needed support.

Thanks to all the staff for helping me to look after Dave for the past 1 1/2 years. I am so glad we chose the Swan Care Home, because of it’s people. At this sad time, I know that we all did as much as we could.

Her illness was made more bearable by the time you all took to talk and offer comfort when she was upset. The homeliness of the Swan and the caring of the staff is what sets it above other care homes. I will always be grateful that she spent time being looked after by such a wonderful team.

Please accept our most sincere thanks for the for the way you cared for Phyllis during her stay with you and just to advise you that her funeral service will be held at the Kingsway Evangelical Church in Dovecourt starting at 2:00 should anybody be able to attend.
